Welcome to NLATI News.  NLATI News is a blog written by Keith Huggett, CPA. Keith is a CPA, having worked in the tax field for over 20 years.  He has seen both sides of the equation, having worked for both the State of California and in the private sector.  His strategies for tax savings reflect his expert knowledge gained consulting with Fortune 500 as well as small entrepreneurial companies. 

Keith was born in New York and moved to California when he was 3.  He has been in California ever since.  He has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting, with an emphasis on Business Management.  He is the author of several whitepapers, co-authored the book ” Seize Your Opportunities – How to live your life without limits”, and has spoken on National Public Radio. His current topics include Avoiding Tax Mistakes, Tax Law Changes, How to Handle an Audit, and Growing Your Business.

In NLATI News, Keith will discuss a multitude of topics such as tax law, preparation, planning, entrepreneurship, building your business, compliance, insurance, risk management, among many others.
